Ms. Hedrick is a consultant to Behavioral Directions, LLC who holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from George Mason University and completed ABA certificate coursework through Florida Institute of Technology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She received extensive training in the education and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and behavior disorders, with an emphasis in school-based intervention, at Loudoun County Public Schools and as a private ABA consultant where she also served as director of a social/pragmatic language camp. She currently holds Teacher Licensure and Certification for K-12 ED/LD. Her professional interests include effective school-based intervention and increasing independence for learners with special needs.
Ms. Dezzutti is a consultant to Behavioral Directions, LLC who holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Simmons College. She is also a candidate for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis. She received extensive training in the education and treatment of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and behavior disorders, with an emphasis in school-based intervention, at Fairfax County Public Schools, where she served as an ABA Coach. She currently holds Teacher Licensure and Certification for K-12 (Special Education/Adapted Curriculum). She trained at the highly respected New England Center for Children, where she conducted research, teacher training and served as a case manager and supervisor. She has also conducted parent and staff trainings in autism and behavior disorders. Her professional interests include early intervention, developing effective strategies to address challenging behavior, and research supporting best practice.
