Ben is Recognized with the Spirit of Liberty Award
Ben and his family have much to be proud of! Ben was selected by staff in May, 2012 as one of 15 students school-wide at Liberty Middle School in Clifton to receive the” Spirit of Liberty” Award. Ben was recognized based on his hard work, upbeat attitude, and excellent citizenship. School administration said “His positive contributions to the Liberty Middle School community make him an outstanding role model.” Over the past several years his parents have worked collaboratively with FCPS school teams to form a strong, consistent learning environment for Ben even through his transition to middle school this year. His parents said “We are so proud of Ben and thankful for Dr. Barbin’s support and partnership with his school team over the years. Although his transition to middle school required a lot of planning and collaboration to get through the bumps, it has resulted in a year of wonderful personal growth for Ben.” We look forward to watching Ben’s success continue!
